A JW reader's review of the
Ranchito San Pedro Bed and Breakfast...

March 29, 2002

I recently spent three nights at Jan Hart's Ranchito San Pedro Bed and Breakfast. I stayed in a beautifully appointed room with my own bath and was treated like an honored house guest during my stay there. The house is warm and inviting, and decorated with creative flair. The atmosphere is very restful and my hostess put me very much at ease. My breakfast included great coffee, juice, toast or bagels and cream cheese or jam - or granola and fruit.

Jan's various pets introduced themselves to me and often kept me company when I was out in the patio or in my room, drawing. During my stay I had access to Jan's spacious and fully equipped art studio and was able to enjoy concentrating on my art making without interruption. This was most important to me. I had a memorable stay at Ranchito San Pedro. There, in New Mexico I experienced a space and clarity that I will always carry inside. I look forward to returning to Jan and Ranchito San Pedro regularly because it did me a world of good.
